It's not a cargo trailer adapted for a mobile unit, it's a mobile unit designed from the ground up for a purpose on wheels!
Labor's exclusive Health Wagon will be operating in municipalities across the country, providing free medical care to the population. In the city of Santa Rita, in Paraíba, which currently has two Carretas da Saúde, they will offer multiple specialties (gynecology, dentistry, blood collection, mammography, colposcopy, medical clinic, Men's Health and Women's Health).
The other, says Labor's president, Heberson Cosso, is a women's specialty truck with a doctor's office and mammography; "It's a simple and quick model to assemble, just half an hour," he says. "It has air suspension and no axles, which helps with the care of the internal equipment (mammography, tomography, etc.), preventing it from becoming unbalanced and making it last longer," he adds.
The Women's Health Truck has a mammography room, two gynecology rooms with ultrasound, both with individual bathrooms. The reception area in the background stands out, with colors and shapes alluding to women's health. "It has autonomy with a generator set sized for all the equipment connected at once," explains Leandro.
The two Health Carts have the same construction characteristics: rooms sized according to ANVISA standard RDC 50, with safe dimensions and service flow, as well as specific furniture, power points, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and security cameras. The capacity is up to 3,000 people per month.
Labor Health Trailers have an air renewal system similar to that used in hospitals, which promotes air exchange, ensuring less risk of contamination by viruses such as COVID-19. The independent suspensions on each side of the semi-trailer increase the longevity of the mobile unit and the medical equipment on board.
The Women's Health Truck was one of Labor Equipamentos Rodoviários' highlights at Hospitalar 2024, the main trade fair for the health sector in Latin America, held in May. "At Hospitalar we exhibited a women's specialty truck with a doctor's office and mammography," he said. "Labor Equipamentos has been in the market for over 30 years, and we have always made exclusive unconventional equipment," he concludes.
